In partnership with Pact inc. Samjhauta Nepal implemented this program through 5 local partners in Nawalparasi, Bardiya and Kailali districts. It has been able to organize more than 1500 women in 60 village banks and train them on village bank mechanics and income generation. In addition to that there are 250 women trained on conflict resolution skill and peace building at community level. 60 peace projects such as culvert, drinking water tank, gravel road, community house etc build by the group women in support of community and they match almost 200 percent against the amount provided to them. A 3 days national workshop organized and handover a declaration to the peace secretariat for sustainable peace in the country focusing on right based approach and transitional justice.
